So while looking at some old posts here in the forums I realized that I really wanted to post somethings in those, but also I didn't want to necro, so I thinked to myself "It would be really cool if I could leave a link to the old post and post a message related to it" and that's how this post was born! Here you can post anything about your old posts without necroing! It's really simple here is an example:

Reviving old threads just for the sake of it, in order to up your post count or when not having anything relevant to contribute to it is indeed frowned upon. Much appreciated that you acknowledge that! The creation of a separate thread to do so does not change that fact.
However, if you have something on topic to contribute to an older thread, it's still fine to post there.

Also: There's always the option to create a new thread if you'd like to discuss a certain idea or topic, even if something similar has been posted in the past and the situation warrants it.
