DISCLAMER: I know I'm not the first person to do this. This is my own unique spin on it.
It's been ages since I've had an idea!
Tarr pits
The one place that is truly TARR.
The Tarr Pits are the most dangerous place on the Far, Far range. Most "slimes" that appear are Tarr. Any rancher knows that it is not wise to go here, but the rewards are plentiful.
You can get to it by using a teleporter in the wilds.
Tarrling
Or maybe we should call it LARR.
Diet: Meat
Favorite: Any type of Chickadoo
Toy: Goop Ball
Slimeology: Tarrlings are the birth stage of a tarr. When Tarr are born naturally, they stay as Tarrlings for a while. For unknown reasons, they do not seem to age while on the ranch. A common slime theory suggests that they may only turn into Tarr while in the Tarr pits. They cannot eat plorts.
Rancher Risks: Tarrlings are hurt by water. But the main risk is the fact that they can cause devastating harm to the ranch, as if extremely upset, they will launch tentacles that grab on to the nearest chicken or chickadoo, or even harm the rancher!
Plortonomics: Tarrlings produce a thick, power-packed plort that can be processed to make a liquid similar to oil. As this old earth fluid is hardly used, Tarrling plorts are most often used by old car enthusiasts.
Goop
Great, Overly Oily Pests.
Diet: Polluted Water
Favorite: None
Toy: Gloopy mess
Slimeology: Goops are sort of like a dissolved tarr. They resemble puddle slimes, but a bit more tarrlike. They are formed out of the remains of tarr.
Rancher risks: Goops can only survive in polluted water, which requires you to buy an upgrade for the pond. Other than that, they are harmless. They are hurt by regular water.
Plortonomics: Goop plorts are used to make a rather sticky, gluelike substance.
This is my first idea in a while! I hope you like it!
Quantum tangles are the hardest slimes to ranch.
But who can say no to that cute little face?
