How can I get tons of crates? By using gordo snare? Is this the only way?

Not the only way but it is the easiest. I suggest novice snares with carrots or pogo fruit

it's nice if you don't want a crazy amount like i do or wanna get a nice chunk of them right before midnight, but it leaves your ranch a mess afterwards. also stick to breaking them open against the wall rather than the ground or shooting them with stuff. less likely to get stuck in the wall than the ground...
If you want a Gordo as big as possible before starting to tremble, feed it 21 of any food that isn't its favorite!

The update thread mentions it's based off of local time, i.e your computer's time.

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Wouldn't recommend doing this. Manually adjusting the system clock could cause problems with the backup save system and/or Steam Cloud saves :(

I understand why adjusting the time can cause problems with the game save. The game loads up the most recent save, and if one is to make a save at an older date, after closing the save, one must delete the save with the highest date to reload said save. Otherwise it will load the older save that was generated at a newer date. One must put extra caution when doing this and always keep an eye on one's save files.

Hey all! January 1st will be your last chance to get all the ornaments!

Image

Every crate will contain a random ornament of the 15 slimes featured during the event :)

I just got the game today. And the ornaments go by-by so soon?

Changing the system time isn't a real option -- would mess up many things.

Will the rare slimes be featured in the next event?
