They just put out a release candidate build, I'm sure it'll come within a hour or so.

Since we followed up this update so quickly with another, let's discuss v1.0.1 in this thread as well:

A fix to the oases is inbound, but in the mean time you can simply re-water.

my gardens timed out like they weren't supposed to, but i planted them again and am going to see if it was just a small bug with having stuff already planted when the game updated.

V1.0.1 BUG:

I updated slime rancher, logged in, went to the glass desert, and literally all of the blooms have become undone. I now will have to go and run around with ancient water bringing them all back to life. I don't really mind, but I just wanted to let everyone know of this pretty significant bug for me.

Crops are behaving oddly.

Old crops, the ones that didn't die shortly after loading up the game for the first time, have retained their old growth cycles.
Newly planted crops, however, have gotten REALLY SLOW. My Mint Mangos have taken 24 hours in game, and my Silver Parsnips are still not grown despite my Crystal Mosaic Largos looking really, really hungry over there.

I was away from the farm finding the map markers, if that has any bearing on it.

Okay, that's fine.I cheated on the Ancient Water bit anyway by re-vaccing the water to refresh its duration before you fixed that "bug" in v0.6.0b. XP

EDIT:

Has anyone found the gilded ginger yet? I just spent an hour looking in the glass desert.

not yet, but things are finally calming down after getting everyone their new toys, resetting my crops so they're all ready to harvest at the same time every day, and finding all the maps. so i can finally start looking a bit more thoroughly.

"Gardens now produce infinite harvests! In order to plant a new crop, you must select to replant from the garden menu. Any gardens already active before the patch will need to be replanted to become infinite."

OMG......I love you devs. This......just THIS....made my day tonight.

Yes. Like all "vegetables", it's a ground crop. It's a bit tall, and very distinct from the others.
