A small group of Ds find a tiny leaf and decide to try and absorbing it. Since, even though it's tiny, the leaf was too big for all of the Ds to absorb, they only sucked out the nutrients from the leaf. They evolved a tube-like mouth to streamline the process.

You made a split? you only change the name is it's a split in this evo game by the way. It's fine if it's a split though.
The old body is pulled into the F-D and creates a slimy skeleton-like structure inside. Although the tail has completely been absorbed, F-D is much stronger. The mouth opens up to allow small D to float in and be absorbed by the nucleus inside. Some F-D have already absorbed so many D that they may soon split into tiny D. But what happens when the nucleus in a F-D splits?
