Then, judging by Nick's comment, it's possible content after that initial translation will/could be translated with the help of community volunteers. So I believe that right now all we can do is wait and see what happens. ^_^

This is, in my opinion, the wisest thing to do. Unless you want your fellow *insert country* player to be able to play in their languague right now, there is no real point in translating before 0.3 knowing that it will be wiped out by professional work.

On a side note : NEVER put your WIP translation files directly into a Steam folder. I once did that for Project Zomboid and I lost an evening worth of work after an update. Use a folder somewhere else, and maybe have a backup too ;)

Software? Fluent understanding of the two languages is what I'm using, it's the most reliable and flexible way to apply a proper translation.

Teesee, Can I help you with translation on Russian? I can throw you a ready-made translation and the program for the opening Unity3D archive in Private Messages.

We're rethinking our plans for translations at the moment. We are likely going to roll out languages gradually, instead of a bunch of them all at once. So far we've got Spanish, German and French covered. So if you were volunteering for those, while we really appreciate it, you can simply look forward to a future translation :)

Hey there everyone, OP here. I've been really busy translating another game, and I'm really sorry I haven't taken more time to lurk around here. For the sake of the purpose of this thread, I'll ask Heather to update the volunteers list.

However, after Nick's intervention (thank you Nick), you'll easily understand that at this point in development, no useful translation work can actually be started. In the future, though, our help may be needed! So thank you all for showing up here, and keep an eye on how the devs choose to handle translations :)

I know there are already two eligible people who volunteered for the Dutch translation.
But if needed, I would love to help!
