I created a idle fan game :D

Postby zarnes » Thu Jul 12, 2018 2:04 pm

Hello, I had a school project which I had to create a project on windows platform (sorry mac users).
As the subject was free, I created an idle game in the Slime Rancher universe, it's a bit simple and rought because I did'nt have much time. But it's working ^^

You can test it here while waiting for drone update :
https://mega.nz/#!tU1VgToA!nSLR0Nroi2Vq ... z3KUWevKEo
When you have downloaded the zip, unzip it and open Idle Slime_1.0.0.0_x86_x64_arm_Debug.appxbundle. You must have Windows 10.

Like in the real game, slimes have favourite food, check the wiki if you want to get more newbucks ;)

I created a repository if you want to look for the code or improve it, it's MIT license :
https://github.com/zarnes/Idle-Slime

Have fun :D

Nice job, but those aren't slimes... that's Kirby.

Yep, I took a fanart of kirby with different slimes forms ^^
Was not really sure if I could use the real slimes pictures.
Anyway it was not smart I took the original food pictures xD

I noticed that it wasn't soo easy to install the game, here are the steps :
1. Dezip the folder
2. Go into Dependencies/x64 (or x86 if you have a Windows 32 bits)
3. Execute both files
4. Get back to root folder and double click on the .cer file
5. Click on install certificate, then local pc
6. Choose "Place all certificates in the following store"
7. In browse, take the second option "the one with root inside, don't remember how it's called in english)
8. Congratulation, you installed a Windows app \o/
9. You can play by installing the appx file :D
10. Enjoy !
