I haven't seen any official art, but there's settings like that where the character's appearance is up to interpretation.
And hey, she's a cutie! (and she's not somehow a skinny white blond man in a suit, which sets it apart from like 90% of fanart of unseen characters and is a plus. :P)

I think it would be better if they were band-aids. Beatrix has to cover up all those bite marks from those mean largos!

Don't forget the Tarr bites too! I thought those markings were bandages too because of how rough ranching can be.

They are indeed bandages and band-aid patches! I don't see how they could be anything else.
That's literally the only thing we know about Beatrix. She's got tanned skin and bandages.

I'm sorry, are you mocking someone's art? It doesn't matter if you make a joke out of it, it's still incredibly disrespectful. If you have criticism or a comment then say it like a normal sane person and don't start joking about not allowing them to make art at all.
