Crash on game startup when controller plugged in.

I am running Arch Linux with the 4.18.16 kernel, with a GeForce GTX 1060 3GB and Nvidia driver 410.66.

With the new update, it seems my game crashes on startup, but only if I have my controller (Steam Controller) turned on, same happens if it is plugged in. The game starts normally, and plays normally, if the controller is turned off. This seems related to a problem I have with the game Hollow Knight, also on Linux, where I have the exact same stacktrace, where it also crashes on startup under the same circumstances. This seems to be a unity engine problem.
