Broke the "Go to sleep"

Postby FarmerYuuma » Wed Jan 27, 2016 10:33 am

So I was testing the game with my controller and used the "Go to sleep".
But I think I pressed it more than once and starting passing time non stop.
So I pressed B to exit and went outside and saw the whole day cycle and couldn't stop it.

Had to quit, it wouldn't let me report.

So, yeah. Something weird happened. I started a new save file for this so it doesn't affect me, but this happens, so check it, please.

Yup it is broken for controller support IF you leave early while the time is progressing it will not stop until you:
Knock yourself out at the cliff behind the house, exit the house when you wake up, enter the house again, sleep again and actually let it finish sleeping. *If you have items on you, throw them on the ground first.

I haven't tried to just exit the house and go back in and sleep, that might work too.
I just panicked and jumped off a cliff...
22 days passed by. All my crops died. All my auto-feeders were empty. All my slimes were mad/hungry. It lagged for like 30 seconds then went back to normal. Spawn in other areas were not broken but nothing spawned for 2-3 minutes after this happened.

Specs:
Windows 7 Ultimate
AMD 6200 FX 6 core CPU 3.8GHz overclocked to 4.2GHz
GTX 750 TI Superclocked 2GB
8GB DDR3 @1333
ASRock 970M Mobo

This game should never lag my specs... so maybe a memory leak on error? IDK Dev's should look into this.

I actually had this issue recently with my controller. I tried going in the house to go back to sleep, but nothing would stop the infinite time. I ended up tabbing out of the game and closing it manually. Came back to some very angry Slimes and a way too full coop.
