How do I submit a bug report to Monomi Park?

Press F2 in game to submit a bug report. This will automatically send us some data from your logfile to help to see what the issue may be. Please be as descriptive as possible with your bug report.

My game is very slow or fails to start.

This is a common problem of not meeting the minimum system requirements.
Slime Rancher's minimum system requirements are:

Windows
OS: Windows 7+
Processor: 2.2GHz Dual Core
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: 512MB VRAM
DirectX: Version 11
Storage: 1 GB available space

Mac
OS: OSX 10.11+
Processor: 2.2GHz Dual Core
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 3.2 compatible, 512 MB VRAM
Storage: 1 GB available space

SteamOS + Linux
OS: Ubuntu 12.04+ or equivalent
Processor: 2.2GHz Dual Core
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: OpenGL 3.2 compatible, 512 MB VRAM
Storage: 1 GB available space
Sound Card: ALSA compatible

My computer meets the minimum system requirements but the game is crashing on startup.

Please try the following steps:

1. If you're on Steam, validate your game files: In your Steam library, right-click on Slime Rancher. Select "Properties" and then "Local Files". Then click "Verify Integrity of Game Cache"
2. Try launching the game in Safe Mode: Right-click on Slime Rancher and select "Launch in Safe Mode" (Or see http://forums.monomipark.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=619 for non-Steam instructions)
3. Update your graphics drivers. These are most likely available via either: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx or http://support.amd.com/en-us/download

Another possible cause of the crash is if you use Citrix Workspace, specifically Citrix Casting. This feature is known to cause issues with some versions of Unity and and you may need to uninstall Citrix or perform an advanced Citrix install to exclude the feature.

If none of these steps solve your problem, please find the game logfile (See below for where to find it) and send that to https://support.slimerancher.com/hc/en-us/requests/new for further analysis of the issue.

Where can I find the logfile for my game?

On Windows:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\LocalLow\Monomi Park\Slime Rancher\Player.log

On Mac:
~/Library/Logs/Monomi Park/Slime Rancher/Player.log

On Linux:
~/.config/unity3d/Monomi Park/Slime Rancher/Player.log

My game is working, but it has no audio.

Please try the following steps:

1. Verify that your in-game Audio volumes are set correctly.
2. Update your sound drivers. Several players have reported that this has solved this issue for them.

My camera is spinning when I start the game, help!

This indicates that the game is receiving continual input from some physical or virtual gamepad or joystick. This can be solved one of two ways:

1. Unplug or disable any gamepads or joysticks, including any virtual gamepads (often named "vJoy") within the Windows Control Panel.
OR
2. In-game go to Options|Gamepad and select "Disable Gamepad/Joystick Input".

I'm experiencing a different issue not listed here.
