All good things and all journeys come to an end, and we’re afraid it is time for us to say goodbye to the Monomi Park Forums. Much like Bea had to leave Earth for the Far, Far Range so she could grow, our community has found homes on new platforms and these forums are no longer the right fit for us. We’ve got so many fond memories of our time together here and we’re sure you do too, so we will be archiving the site and making it viewable for everyone for a time.

game graphics not rendering

When I launch the game, everything renders strange. lots of black stuff, and the menu doesnt work.
deleted the game and restarted and reinstalled. still doesn't work.

Please help!

Welcome to our community, and sorry to hear you're having trouble.
I do see what you mean.

Do you have any mods installed?

Can you please try to run the game in low graphics / safe mode (click here to learn how) and let us know if that helps?

I tried in low graphics mode. Same result.
Also, no mods loaded. Just bought the game.

If you have a nvidia graphics card, can you try these steps below, restart, and let us know if the issue resolves please?

go into the nvidia control panel and set not just all graphics to use the nvidia card ...., but set the 3D graphics to always use the nvidia card.

Is this Windows, Mac, Linux?
Please tell us as much about your system as you can... which graphics card are you running?

Intel Core I5 2500 8GB RAM
Nvidia GFORCE GTX750Ti
Running Windows 10 64 bit

Ok, let's try updating your nvidia drivers.

If that doesn't work, Please send your log files to bugs@monomipark.com along with a brief description
You can find them on Windows here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Slime Rancher\SlimeRancher_Data\output_log.txt

Please let us know how you make out!
