Unable to load save file

After returning to the ranch from the glass desert (through the teleporter in the ancient ruins), I closed off the game, and when I tried to load the save file again, it crashes the game.
I have tried verifying the game cache and reinstalling the game. I also created a new game and it worked fine.
My vacpack had some prickly pears, silver parsnips, dervish slimes and mosaic slimes.
Hope someone can help me solve this.

I have the same exact problem!!
While I was trying to collect prickle pears in the wilds a feral Largo pushed me and I fell in the water and died.
After I got back in the ranch, I just closed my game (Rage Quit Lels) but, I saved and quit. I didn’t just close the computer.
Now, I can’t open up my save file. But for me, other save files don’t work too. I haven’t tried creating a new game yet
