Resolution won't go above 1080p

I've been emailing support about this for the last 10 days, and have gotten no responses on the Steam forums or the Reddit. So maybe somebody here can help me. I can't get this game to go above 1080p, namely, to 4K. I have a 4K TV. I have around 60 games installed and all of them work at 4K no problem. When I pick 4K in Slime Rancher, it asks me if I want to save the changes. I hit yes. The screen doesn't change. When I back out and go back into settings, it has reset to 1080p.
Any ideas? I tried setting w-3840 h-2160 in launch options but that didn't help.

I don't think Slime Rancher supports 4K yet.

Devs have spoken like 4K is a thing, and it's an option in the menu.

4K will be released with the Xbox One X.

Is it going to be exclusive to the Xbox One X? Will it come to PC? Is this an official statement somewhere that I missed? It seems odd the game would have those options available right now but not working.
