Glass Desert map icons upside down

All of the teleporter and extractor icons in the Glass Desert display upside down, while those elsewhere display correctly. Beatrix's icon is however correctly displayed both in the Glass Desert and elsewhere. I noticed it since 1.0.1b, but don't know if it was also the case in 1.0.1.

Also, my tier 4 extractors are displayed with the tier 1 icon on the map.

Am I the only one with this problem?

Well, I do think I know why it is. The Glass Desert is not placed on the map like it is on the map in-game. The north on the map is actually south in-game, while south is north.

I don't understand why they flipped it on the map, to be honest. :V
