Right but they could just offload some of the physics into a more compressed/simplified algorithm and fix the memory leaks? As well the images could be scaled down size wise to be more manageable but retain original quality.
https://github.com/dropbox/lepton for example could be altered to handle the images, algorithms, and even audio in this game. Since it's open source, why not.
Physics doesn't have to be complicated to work.
The highest graphics settings need to be adjusted to run as if you were using the lowest quality settings, but retain the highest quality.
It could be coded better TO work for everything. Not just "oh well it doesn't work for "X" so it won't work."
