Sound problems and game lag after a while

Postby Zynnikk » Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:46 am

Just checking and I see other users having similar problems, also only since V0.6.0.
So here's what happens, I can play smoothly, as usual, for about an hour or more, then the sound effects start to miss on the events (e.g. sucking up plorts, you hear only every 5th one or so) and this effect gets worse. Maybe the problem gets triggered in areas with too much sound effects at the same time.
Anyway, maybe a minute after the first sound cutouts, the game starts to lag badly. However I did not have any crash yet, I was always able to save the game and exit normally.
So far I never had technical issues with the game and I have been playing it for ages now.
I have attached my DXDIAG report.

(By the way, I love the game - the grafix shaders, the landscape design and relative peace - just right to come down after a day's work. The only thing I still miss having again are the garden countdown timers.. ;-)

Similar issue.
Specs:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
GPU: GTX 750 TI EVGA Superclocked @ 4095 MB Memory
CPU: AMD FX 6200 6 core @~3.8GHz OC'd to 4.2GHz
Memory/RAM: 16384MB (16GB)
Page File: 14,613MB used, 18,065MB available
Page File 2: 120GB available
DX11 installed

Lags as if there is a memory leak after an hour or so.
Basically. You have a memory leak in the game somewhere.
