I was just informed that you should be able to keep 4 puddle slimes in each pond.
My first pond was made in the cave area and it only let me put 2 in without them getting shy, so I just assumed it was 2 per pond.

it doesnt really matter to me as my grotto is my crystal slimes' free-range area, but is it a specific plot that has this bug? or the entire grotto?
If you want a Gordo as big as possible before starting to tremble, feed it 21 of any food that isn't its favorite!

So... it is and it isn't broken.
I had 2 slimes in, transferred in 2 more, they got shy...
Took out one, still shy.
Took out the other (only 2 now) not shy.
Put back 1, not shy...
put back 1 (4 now) not shy....?
i did this for a while, sometimes they'd be shy, sometimes only 1 slime would be shy. Once, the 1 shy slime went near another slime and then it became shy too and they all became shy!

Well,I have 5...but then the 5th committed a free falling through the cliff of the Lab,by it's own.
Yeah,it was annoying.
Also,and if...you buy for free the great lake(Or the termal waters of the Indigo Quarry)for more Puddle Slimes?...except there is a 75% of your Slimes getting eaten by Tarr everyday and a 5% of "I'm gonna escape and be free".
And finally we get 4.
