Glitch Resulting in being Knocked Out

This is concerning leaving "The Overgrowth" and returning to the range.
I jump up the wooden step onto the decking and immediately fall into water (there isn't even any water in this area), and get "knocked out" meaning I lose everything I currently had on my player. This glitch means that I keep losing large amounts of items as once I go into this area, I can not leave with anything I collect in there or went in with. I'm assuming there is an issue with a gap in the land on the map causing the player to fall through into the water, then "knocking out" my player. Any way this could be fixed as it's really hindering my gameplay as I now can not use this area?

How many times have you gone through this? I always thought this stairway could be susceptible to collision mishaps, but I never fell victim to it so far. I recommend using a jetpack to make it across.

Also, is said glitch similar to this?
