Using Steam:
I have a Linux desktop machine capable of high performance graphics. I also use a MacBook Air when I travel which has a much less powerful integrated GPU.
Slime Rancher plays fine on the MacBook with lowest settings, (good job!), but the video settings automatically sync on Steam.
It's not that big of a deal. If I go to the other computer the first thing I have to do is go change all the settings for that machine. I thought I would report it though because I don't think there's any realistic use-case where someone would want the video settings to sync between different machines. I think in almost all cases people set them as high as possible for the hardware capability - so it's not really a "preference" that you want seamless between devices. It's more like a calibration for a specific device that you want to retain for that device.
