I think the audio messed up

So i started up the game one day, entered my usual world and everything was normal as always, but the audio was playing in directions it shouldn't...
You know how in FPSs, if you use headphones, some sounds effects tend to switch between the right and left side to give you a sense of where it's comming from? That part screwed up, and it's making it so that effects sound like they are coming from a wall, when in reality they are playing in front of me.
Any suggestions?

I wonder if it has something to do with Mike's post on an audio bug recently...although it doesn't sound as though your sound is completely silent.

I've had the sound glitch out before, but not have EVERYTHING go completely silent.

There is a separate issue that we're working on where the SFX can sometimes stop playing partway through. The next release should include at least a partial fix as well as some additional diagnostic logging to help in assessing future bug reports for this.

Just to confirm, you're not actually using headphones, correct?

I am using headphones.
And should i send a bug report? I don't know how it happened or what i did to get it to happen. I have no idea how to recreate it.

I'm just making sure, have you checked to make sure it's not your headphones?
I have a pair of headphones that go in and out like that.

Otherwise just hit F2 in the game when and if it ever happens again.
