Xbox Series X controller doesn't work on PC

So, I use a controller on my pc for slime rancher and I had been using an xbox one controller and it worked fine. But it broke and so I bought a new and updated controller for the series x xbox. Well, on pc it doesn't work. I have tried everything I could think of.

I just want to check, did you go into Stream's Controller Settings > General Controller Settings and see if toggling any of those options worked?

I tried using it before but it is really hard to use.
