Xbox Series X some issues
Posted: Thu Nov 12, 2020 11:16 pmI just got my Xbox Series X and was looking forward to trying Slime Rancher on it, as it runs pretty bad even on the One X. The good news it runs better, overall framerate is 60 a lot more often than with the old machine, but it is still not a stable 60. I don't know if I had my hopes set too high. But I think it should be possible to optimize a 3 year old game to run 4k60 on the series x.
There is also an issue with quick resume. Sometime when I switch back to SR and the xbox quicks resumes to the title, I get the "controller has been disconnected press menu..." when I press menu I am unable to move the in the menu and select continue. Nothing works, and I have to force quit from the xbox dashboard.
The Auto HDR on the xbox does make the game look better, so there is that.
