Game unplayable due to constantly not responding
Posted: Sat May 23, 2020 11:09 amI had over 130 hours of gameplay and ran out of things to do in my casual world, so I stopped playing for a while. After I stopped playing, I updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I don't know if that has to do with what's happening or not.
Anyways, I got the Secret Styles DLC and started a new world in Adventure mode. However, every time I load the world, the game stops responding and I have to close it. It sometimes stops responding as soon as I load the world, sometimes it takes a bit longer, but it never takes more than a couple minutes to freeze.
The game runs smoothly when it's not frozen, but I've tried setting the visual settings to minimum anyway. I've even tried reinstalling the game and forcing it to run DirectX 9, but nothing works! My computer more than meets the minimum requirements, so I don't know what's causing this. Please help!
Edit: I have also tried uninstalling the DLC, but that didn't work either.
Edit2: It also isn't just that save, it also freezes on my other save.
