With everyone seeing the game in its Early Early Access state, quite a few people would associate this with its finished state.

Slimes look miserable when hungry... It's painful to not feed them. I'm still pretty early in this game so I find myself frantically running around feeding, collecting and maintaining my ranch as well as frantically scavenging and exploring. I hope it gets less hectic later on.

You are right there. The incinerator quite probably, well, incinerates Slimes, while in the Slime Sea Slimepedia entry (How many "S"s are there?) it says that Slimes don't die if thrown in the Slime Sea.

I believe we're finding 2 years is the maximum wait time for Early Access/Kickstarted games. There is no Minimum.

After 2 years you will often find a larger vocal group demanding the full game than the vocal group encouraging you to take your time.

Star Citizen is suffering from it majorly at the moment - and they just ticked over their 3rd year of development. Patience is not a virtue amongst the loudest gamers it seems. That said I reckon these guys have a game they could achieve in less than 2 years.

Boy, what a BABY. Already fed up with the game??? Yeesh... it's not like the threats are going to do anything.... Monomi's already got your money, Whiney Steam Dude!! THEY WON. They've won this imaginary war before it's even begun, because they got your $20!! Threatening your innocent, starved slimes won't affect anything, and the game is set to fully release this year sometime. Hissy fits won't get new patches or content out any faster.

To be fair, there are some jerks everywhere. So far I have been pleasantly surprised at the lack of jerks.
