I know the devs haven't started any translation work yet, but they may need us in the future when translations are on their schedule. To help them, I want anyone who's interested in helping for translation to make a post right here, saying for which language. I'll add the name to the list later on.
This way, they'll know who they can contact should the need arise.
Just to make it clear :
- I am not a dev
- I am not coordinating anything, I just want to help the devs by making this list
- There is NO official translation work started by the devs YET. You can nevertheless find the texts and start translating them on your own or with you fellow volunteers.
- DO NOT send me PM regarding "how is translation going" or "how do I translate". Once again, I am not a dev and there are no official translation work started at the moment. Do as you wish. I WILL NOT ANSWER PM REGARDING THESE TOPICS, unless it's asking for help with the French translation.
Thanks and good luck ;)

Thoughts on this subject from one of the game Devs:
Nick wrote:Hi everyone. We really appreciate your enthusiasm in wanting to help translate Slime Rancher. Currently our plans for doing so are as follows:
At some point in the future, most likely following the release of v0.3.0, we're going to work with a translation company to do a first pass on the translations for SR. Following this first pass, we would recruit community volunteers to work on the ongoing process of translating future content.
So please sit tight as we work this out, but feel free to post if you're interested and what you can offer. Though I'll add that just doing so won't guarantee involvement. We have a lot of experience with this sort of thing and having too many people involved can lead to problems.
Thanks!
