What is the relation between the miles family and 7zee?

Nimble valley has the logo for 7zee on many of its structural supports, yet the miles family owns that land. If they are competitors this would seem to be odd for the miles family to support 7zee.

7Zee is so ubiquitous on the Far, Far Range it's very difficult to live as a rancher and not use at least some of their equipment. But you're absolutely right that Tatsuya Miles could EASILY equip every inch of his daughter's ranch with the latest Miles Tech, and much of it would be an improvement over the 7Zee stuff.

If only he wanted to do so.

Thanks for the response, just was something that had been bugging me for a while after noticing it in game. Even after going through mochi's story it seemed a bit odd but again this answers the question so thanks.
