You should monetize your fortune right now. As far as I know your game didn't go through kickstarter and went straight on the top of the various streaming sites.

I myself came to know about SR from a video on youtube.

My suggestion is to try make money on it, and hire people to help you. I mean. I want a shirt with the happy slimes on it. I'd even buy a soft antistress pink slime to use on the job.

in game stuff would be awesome too.

reskins that change the rancher gun into a portal gun or into the gravity gun from HL2 (although getting rights may be complicated)

an alternate scare slime that is actually a normal scarecrow

slime pens that replace the energy field with chain link fence, bars, or something more decorative.

random decorations for the farm

and anything else that could be decorated on the ranch.


keep all of these things very cheep and one time use. less than a dollar for each texture, but you have to buy it again any time you want to use it (example changing from scarecrow to scareslime and back to scarecrow would require you to spend the 10 cents or whatever price again).

this way you could get a steady income and the game will live longer.

or you could have people pay to advertise on the slimes (tabby slimes with fancy feast logos) <-this last suggestion is a joke.

EDIT: There is no proof, this is my personal thought that I wanted to share with the developers.
A project needs money other than dreams and whatnot.
And, call me strange, I'd like to throw more money at them for merchandise.

that's why they should start with in game content. that way there is only the time investment regarding design, where physical merchandise requires, design, marketing (including getting a company to pick it up and make your products), production, and THEN finally sales.

plushies, shirts, and hats would be awesome, BUT for now they should keep their goals more realistic and work with the readily available resources.
