Slimeology
Rex Slimes are some of the most dangerous slimes a Rancher can encounter. The size of a Largo, with a voracious appetite, Rex Slimes can use their mighty jaws and incredible strength to munch on just about anything. However, feeding a Rex Slime will make it turn docile, for a time at least, allowing a daring Rancher to capture one and return it to the Ranch. Though if a Rex Slime goes too long without being fed, they can easily become enraged, and attack any Ranchers or slimes that get near them. Some Ranchers report that particularly upset Rex Slimes have broken out of their corrals!

Rancher Risks
Large and powerful, Rex Slimes can be a challenge simply to bring home to your Ranch, since they are too large to be sucked into the Vacpack. They need to be fed more often than other Slimes, and will become Feral if they go too long without food. Feral Rex Slimes will attack and eat any other slimes they can reach, and will even attack the Rancher should they get too close. If left unfed for an extended period, an Feral Rex Slime will be butthurt enough to bust out of its corral, allowing it to go on a rampage through your Ranch until it eats enough to calm back down. Though they are dangerous for this reason, some Ranchers keep them as guard dogs, as they are the only Slimes capable of defeating Tarrs on their own.

Plortonomics
Rex Plorts are highly sought after by military organizations due to their extremely high durability and flexibility, allowing them to be refined into high tech nanomachines and advanced synthetic muscle fibers, for use in the construction of giant robots and transforming battleships.

Notes
Their bodies look like T-Rex Heads, with big jaws and snouts.
They can be fed to be tamed, like Feral Slimes, but will quickly become Feral once they grow hungry again.
If they get upset enough, through not eating for an extended period, they can break out of Corrals. This temporarily overloads and shuts down the walls of the Corral, allowing all Slimes inside to escape. Overloaded Corral walls will restore themselves after a short while, or can be manually reset instantly by interacting with the upgrade post.
They can Roar to scare off smaller slimes. Plus it just sounds cool.
They do not change size when becoming a Largo, but will adopt colors/features from other slimes.

A potential new food source could be called Porky
Little round pig like creatures that go oink.
