Hey guys!

This is the Slime Rancher Mod Installer!
With this little tool you can download, update und play your SlimeRancher Mods.

What can it do?
With this tool, you can Update and Install all mods, that are currently Avaiable.
Also it keeps automatic track of everything and is really easy to use.

How to use it?
Just Download it and start it. It should find the Slime Rancher Folder by default.
When not, no worry. You can select the Folder by hand.

What mods are available?
SlimeChat - Chat with your fellow Ranchers!
BetterBuild - Build your own Worlds!
ZoneUI - A simple Info about your Zone

How to install?
Just download the Installer and start it. That's all.
(The first start maybe takes a while, because the installer searches for the Slime Rancher Folder)

I like the fact that the game is grown so popular already, mods are happening even when it's still in alpha, but it kinda worries me: you guys are putting so much time and efford in doing it but this things might not even work next time they upgrade, and that would be really sad.

It will not work, you are right! But that's why i added the version number at the top :) As soon as a update is out, i will update the Modloader. The mods should work in all versions.

Hello SatyPardus. I love how quick you were to do such a thing for the Slime Rancher community, but I'm sadly having problems. =(

I've tried to install Modloader to your exact directions, only for it to not show up on the main menu. I checked and the mods folder was not made, either.

Please send me the output_log from the Slime Rancher_Data folder over pastebin.com
Also: Be sure the folder (and file) has enough permissions. Try to start the game as administrator or look if your antivirus blocks anything.

I have tried to run it as an administrator. The files have all permissions enabled (although due to the Win10 bug, the folder is read-only...I hate this bug). My antivirus tried blocking one of your mods, but not Modloader itself. Disabling it made no change either.

The Modloader is installed. Did you press "Insert" in the main menu? It only shows up when you press insert^^ And there should be a mods folder, right next to the SlimeRancher.exe

Excuse me, when i downloaded the mod installer i clicked the "install mod" button for the modloader and every time i click it it says, "Can not install mod! You must close the game before updating!", and i don't even have the game open and i checked my task manager to see if it was open in the background and it wasn't. can you please help me???

How do i unistall the mod and installer? I tried them out, but I feel it takes away from the immersion imo.

@z0mbiesrock - It's not infected, it's false alarm. But i have to update the Virustotal link, your right. (Forget that for Update 2). It's detected as Virus because the installer download .dll's and also connect to the internet (The Chat).
@Nunn - I gonna Update the Installer soon, that you can uninstall the modloader easly. For now you should just be able to delete the mods Folder and the installer. When you wan't to remove it completly, you have to use the repair tool from Steam, i think. Because the main mod has to edit an game file^^
