I'll be honest, I originally found it on gamejolt by someone who put it there for free and claimed it as his own. I had no idea it was a pirated copy. But I played through it, and I loved it! Then when I went back to leave a positive comment on the gamejolt, it was long gone, it was taken down by gamejolt. Then it dawned on me it was a pirated copy, and looked it up, found the steam early access page (In time for the winter sales of course) and bought it when I saw how many more features than the version I had.
Now I love the game even more!

Saw it on the Xbox store games list and downloaded the trial. I LOVE the timed trial, it let me play long enough to get me crazily addictive and made me desperate to buy it, which doesn't happen with just screenshots and trailers.

My kids love watching SquaisheyQuack play Slime Rancher. So we bought it. Now, Mom is the most addicted to this game- I love it!!

I saw a video by blitzkrigister and I was like that's a neat game then 3 weeks leather I own a Xbox one copy

I noticed one of my friends playing it on steam, got interested in the game, searched it up in the steam store, added it to my wishlist, and bought it a few months later.

A friend of mine was working on a Slime Rancher mod for Minecraft. At the time, I did not see a mac version of the game.

I heard about it through youtube as well, watching a vlogger called Cupquake for other gaming videos.

I happened to be browsing around the interwebs and ended up here on the forum. Then I sat and waited for Slime Rancher to be released on Steam.
