I was nabbing screenshots of Tarr behaviours for the wiki and as I was trying to get it to replicate, this happened.

Not the first time I've experienced something similar. I took this quite some time ago.

I lovingly call it, the "Tarr Slingshot".

A necro is reviving a dead thread by posting on it, bringing it to the top. It's annoying.

I was using Noclip, for the sake of getting a better picture.

Such a thread revive is considered a necro usually about a month after the thread was last posted in. In some communities it's allowed as long as the poster contributes to the topic and the topic doesn't contain outdated information (correcting a user with information that wasn't available at the time, for example).

Rule of thumb though is to just avoid posting in old threads.

Feels like playing a game of snooker.

"It's only a game so better put up a real good fight"
"I'm gonna be snookering you tonight"
"I'm playing for my aim so, you better believe I'm right"
"I'm gonna be snookering you, snookering you tonight"
"BIG BREAK"

Three step guide to having fireworks on your ranch.

Step 1: Shoot quicksilver plorts into a linked Warp Depot.

Step 2: Withdraw them at the target location

Step 3: Enjoy the view. (For best results, do it at night)

Is it possible to keep a quicksilver plort un-fireworked for long enough to try to get a pink slime to eat it? Or at least mod the game so quicksilver plorts don't firework?

Slimes don't interact with the plort since they weren't ever intended to do that.

I don't think a slime would eat it anyway, because it's like a puddle or fire slime.

I have a chicken coop in Ogden's Retreat that I used for storing spare hens rather than breeding anything. Consequently, it's rather packed. I dumped a bunch of Stony Chicks into it, and later returned to what can only be described as a "Chicken Firework"

Can't figure out how to post a gif here for the life of me, sorry.

PS: If anyone's wondering why I don't just use a Silo, it's because I already had the coop there before I learned I didn't need that many and never felt like spending the money to demolish and replace it. Plus, this allows me to deposit chicks and allow them to grow up before they're needed.

Have a full inventory. They don't teleport.

And yeah as Emerald said, slimes ignore them.

I recently saw a Tarr just suddenly get flung away really quickly at a low angle while it was trying to grab on to a Slime. I guess that Slime must have had some fighting spirit, huh?

Also, I actually caught some footage of it on the Xbox capture thing where there was a Rock Rad Largo that was trapped in a corner of some wood (in the same place as that bridge you need to Jetpack to in Indigo Quarry) and the Slime clearly had its eyes wide open in fear because of the Tarr right next to it, but the Tarr never did anything. The two of them were stuck in that corner, the Tarr pretty much touching the Slime. I then killed the Tarr and sent the Slime to the Slime Sea because I needed plain Rad Slimes. (But at least it's not death, right?)

Nah, the Tarr was the one that got flung at high velocity, not the Slime. But the Slime Slingshot is pretty cool, too!

Remembered today one time I was collecting chickens in the ancient ruins and I watched a pink and tabby pillar just float in midair to reach one chicken... I was just like “wtf just happened here”
