Pond upgrades

Postby Maliki » Mon Jan 18, 2016 10:58 pm

first one would be obvious holding more water at a time.
also we need a depth gauge in it so we can tell when we need more water I have great difficulty doing that. maybe some sort of auto refiller like an auto feeder that you restock with water perdicodicaly.

YES! I want this please. I like my puddle slimes a lot. Please give them some love with upgrades. I like the simplicity of them, but at the same time - I feel like they could get like a wet lily pad to sit at least!

Agreed; a pond plort collector would be handy as well!

I agree with all this.
A fountain (that acts as a secondary tank and a feeder?) would be really neat
I feel like the plort collector would be a bit OP, but maybe that's just me
A depth upgrade could be great (maybe needed for a 2nd kind of aquatic slime?)
And finally yes, a water gauge (or anything to see how much water is in the pond) is just needed.

I agree with pond upgrades: plort collector, water gauge and a way (other than shooting water into it) to refill it.

A plort collector for ponds would be excellent. Suck up puddle plorts is a chore. Also, a little unorthodox, but a wall upgrade would be alright. Multiple times after throwing my puddle slimes back into the pond has one or two bounced off another one and landed outside the pond. Am I doing something wrong?

I would personally like ponds to be replaced with wells.

You pay for a super expensive fancy well and drop the slimes inside. It has it's own water thingy, maybe instead you need machinery to keep the water clean or something, I don't know.
But I really dont like the "feeding" water mechanich

Every one of those are amazing wow, and super fast! Sadly since I draw for a living and so I'm always doing commissions, I don't have much free time. But I might try my hand at it to. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I'm trying to draw as much as I can now. :3
I want to do commission art for a living, but I only just got out of a 4 year artist block. Do you have any tips for doing commissions?

How about a pump upgrade to the pond. it installs a pump below the pond increasing the speed that the pond refills

Yeah, they really need walls. 0 protection from Tarr. And that's just the first step! All these ideas have so much potential. They are like base/foundation for future concepts.

i haven't lost any puddles to tarr, BUT i have lost several to over active tabbies leaping in the pond and knocking them out.

BTW there is rain in the game but it happens as you sleep so you can't see it, So the pond refills. And that is one reason you should call them unlimited plort producers.

I wouldn't say that a plort collector is broken, only just that the water plorts are excessively fragile. Most of the time I end up breaking a few when I collect just because they collide with slimes or the sides. A collector could be a good fix for this issue. If anything since the pond is different from any other structure,(and puddle slimes are more or less a constant stream of free plorts) I would say have the plort collector have a low cap- maybe something like 30 plorts before it needs emptied.
