Portal/warp station pick-up option please!!!

It’s starting to get a little annoying to rearrange my portals but destroying them and making more.

Would be better if we could just pick it up and move it from their without having to make them again.

It would basically allow you to have a pocket teleporter, and because of that I don't think this should happen.

So give teleporters a charging mechanic similar to the hydropumps; have it take several ingame hours for them to be ready to whisk you back and forth.

We've gone round on this design extensively and there's really no version of it that we can see that doesn't allow for a pocket teleporter exploit. Even things like picking up one picks up both or allowing you to safely pick them up from a set location like the Lab allows for exploits where using two different types of teleporter gives you the same pocket teleporter exploit.

The cooldown Calydor mentioned solves the exploit, but creates an annoying wait period after setting up a teleporter network when you almost certainly want to use the teleporter after placing a second one.

We'll continue to evaluate it though. Something may come up.

What if you create a much more expensive teleporter that allowed for this? Or even a different type that isn't fixed, but has then cool down? Just an idea.

You can use only 1 warp depot and have an non-silo storage spot, only taking up a slime science spot, and only storing 100 of one item max.

If pocket storage exists, why can't pocket teleporters?

If pocket storage exists, why can't pocket teleporters?

Because pocket teleporters allow you to teleport from area to area. This means you can make speed-travel type systems.
