I am on the Xbox one version of Slime Rancher.

Both yesterday and today, I have searched for a Gilded Ginger for HOURS and none have spawned or even showed up. It's beginning to become a little annoying.

I've searched all possible locations, I know when new ones spawn and when ones are uprooted. I know tarrs can decay them. But still, it shouldn't be THIS HARD to find them!

I've looked in that location already and I've looked in just about every other location as well. I dunno if I'm doing something wrong or not

i mean you can look up all the locations but that wouldn't be fun now would it

If I didn't look it up I would have gone mad. Even though there's a map where they've been found before it's still a long process to find one. If you're like me most the time is spent getting lost.

Looking at a picture of it helped me. It's just one single sprout out of the ground, easy to hide. I found one behind the ancient fountain hiding in the curly grass. I would have missed it if I wasn't randomly suctioning every where I go.

I usually sleep overnight and go looking when I wake up. Then I go hunting until midnight and then restart the whole process because after midnight it rots. Talk about a bummer finding it then have it vanish.

Some where online said they're usually grass or rocks. Both of mine where by grass.

You have to look in all the corners and anywhere you see pink grass patches. That’s all the help I can give.

What is gilded ginger used for,sorry.

In the main area with the return teleporter, there's a crevice to the left of the Black Treasure Pod Crevice. There, you'll find 3 possible spawn locations for the Gilded Ginger.

Use the wiki, where, like, 20 or so locations have been compiled. It's the fandom wikia.

Can somebody please tell me what gilded ginger is used for as i can't find any info and even if i did actually find info i don't get it.

The gilded ginger is used for a master gordo snare, you can put the ginger on the master snare and eventually have a golden gordo on your ranch and you can either pop him or have him as decoration. That's what i did with mine and i got mine in area with the home teleporter, as you stand infront of the ramp up to the home teleporter and where a gordo was, it was in the right back corner where some flat rocks are, it will grow ontop of them.
