Puddle slimes bug :(

When i give water to a puddle slime (when he is hungy) he produce 3 plorts and die :( It's a bug ? i have to give water to they or let them hungry ?

Um..... You DO have it in a pond, right???? They aren't going to survive more than a couple in game hours outside of a fresh water source...... they can't be in corrals..... just ponds.

My Puddle slimes stil die in 0.2.3b patch. Not sure if it is because im still using the same save game! I tried ponds in the main farm area and the cave and overgrowth. But if i but them in a newly buildt pond and go to sleep, they disappear the next morning.

They are in the pond , and when i give water to us he go to the middle of the pond and dissapear 30 sec later
