Mod support plans?

Postby pixeledbrain » Fri Jan 15, 2016 10:38 am

Now that Slime Rancher is on steam, adding steam features like achievements and cards will probably be on our beloved devs' minds, but what about mod support (AKA Steam workshop)?

Is it something that could come after the full game release?
Will it come during the early access?
Will Slime Rancher never support mods?

If it is planned, what kind of mods will be supported? (For example, basic texture mods, mods which alter gameplay, add items, re-balance the game...)

Thanks for reading and have a nice day.
Feel free to add me on Steam if you want to discuss something!

I hope you all have a nice day. ~ Pixel

I don't believe there's been any word to this, but this would be something very good.

I need this, I can't mod the game because of how the game doesn't support modding, so I'd like to see it in the future.
