Save file transport questions

I intend to carry my save file in a USB key, because i want to play while at college.

I know the way to get the Monomi Park folder (User\AppData\LocalLow\Monomi Park\Slime Rancher), but I still have questions: What is this Unity folder next to the save file? This question gets more important as I notice that if I play the game while I have the save file in my USB key (haven't yet changed computer), the Monomi Park folder is re-created in my LocalLow file, with my .sav and .prf file, but the Unity folder is missing.

This brings questions: is the save file in the USB key used to create the folder in LocalLow, but is then ignored? Does that mean I always have to copy and paste the file in the computer to my USB key in order to actually "save"? Why was the Unity folder not re-created along the .sav and .prf?

Did you buy Slime Rancher on steam?

sure, and I downloaded steam on the second computer too, won't be an issue

Then you dont need to carry around the save file. As long as you install steam you will have your save file available through steam cloud.

also! if I play on the other computer, what will happen since a save file is already here? Will it just overwrite the existing one once I get back?

Ye, it will overwrite your existing save file.
