So I've followed the development of Slime Rancher ever since the early access was available. Now that it's official launch started, I saw posts asking about if a ps4 launch is now possible. I have seen you answer with it being a possibility or that it's being discussed, things around those lines. But what I like to know is, I know it's possible, but what exactly are the chances of getting a ps4 release? If you have any information like that.

While the PS4 and Xbox now both use x86_64 processors, the operating system is totally different. The XBox uses something vaguely related to Windows Embedded, with a totally different user interface. As far as I know, the new XBox can still use .NET framework programs.

The PS4 uses Sony's proprietary operating system, which I believe has some faint hints of Linux but is mostly Sony's home-grown OS. The development jump is much more significant.
