what do you mean a discount? Assuming you already have the game, you don't have to buy it again for steam, you already get access for that from your first purchase.

At the end of the day it's a commercial game, so, no lol. They're in it for a profit, however they do seem like great people and have been in the gaming industry prior to creating Monomi Park, so hopefully we see them grow and evolve from their Slime Rancher endeavors :) Personally I think $20 is completely fair for what it will become.

First-day discounts for anyone are a big commerical no-no, everyone here appreciates your contribution and help, but Monomipark is still a commercial company, the best way the developers can "pay us back" is fill the game up with content and more potential gameplay hours, or even better - assure the game won't wear out by the time it's released fully. :}
