All good things and all journeys come to an end, and we’re afraid it is time for us to say goodbye to the Monomi Park Forums. Much like Bea had to leave Earth for the Far, Far Range so she could grow, our community has found homes on new platforms and these forums are no longer the right fit for us. We’ve got so many fond memories of our time together here and we’re sure you do too, so we will be archiving the site and making it viewable for everyone for a time.

There's plenty to do about it. Active Moderators would be a start...
OP is right - it's annoying, and children also use this forum.
"Report and move on" - Lack of active mods... so, they would just see it when they logged in anyways lol no point in even reporting it. LOL
Update the forums' phpBB or change to a better one.
This phpBB structure is a bit....dated. Might I suggest SMF? (Elkarte) SMF is rather easy to manage. Get some decent bot protection on that and go from there. (With more moderators)
