Update Question (not abt when its coming out)

i was wondering, i had a problem with the pc version forcing me to make a new save file when a new update came out. i wanted to know if since this is a hefty update coming out if it will make me do the same on my xbox or if it will just auto update to any save file already made. im just worried because im lvl 15 on the 7zeeclub and have already finished the game and really dont want to have to restart...

You shouldn't lose save files with updates.
