My Japanese is pretty atrophied, but *if* the name is Japanese, we would have to see it written in Kanji to know what "monomi" really means. Or, Monomi Park would have to tell us. :-)
モノミis katakana, which is a phonetic syllabary, not Chinese Kanji. It is literally sounding out /mo-no-mi/.
"Mono" is used as a suffix for "physical thing/item". Taberu and nomu are "to eat/eating" and "to drink/drinking", and tabemono and nomimono are "food" and "drinks". Tack it onto the verb "to sell", and you get "merchandise".
If my (poor) memory is right, "monomi" is used as just "a thing", possibly as "a piece of that" or "one of those". However, "mi" can be a few other kanji, so it might have a specific meaning.
