All good things and all journeys come to an end, and we’re afraid it is time for us to say goodbye to the Monomi Park Forums. Much like Bea had to leave Earth for the Far, Far Range so she could grow, our community has found homes on new platforms and these forums are no longer the right fit for us. We’ve got so many fond memories of our time together here and we’re sure you do too, so we will be archiving the site and making it viewable for everyone for a time.

Steam Early Access

If I preordered Slime Rancher through humble bundle, do I get a key for early access? If I do, when? Is it just not on steam early access yet?

Yes the pre-order comes with Steam keys. Steam keys will be given out once the game has been released on Steam, of course. And no, the game is not yet out on Steam Early Access.

But tomorrow it will be! :)

Edit: Holy crap it took every will of my being to be this nice. Why don't people do their research before they ask these damn questions? All the answers can be found really easily! Damn it if it weren't for my love of this forum and the game, I would've lashed out at you. Sorry for the small rant but I'm okay now. I can do this. I shall be nice to the newcomers. I shall welcome them with open arms. Or I'll die trying.

They never specified the timing of the release. Also, they might be in different timezones?

They never specified the timing of the release. Also, they might be in different timezones?

They might do it when the steam store refreshes in about three hours

The download at the humble bundle page is still there in version 0.2.3b - so yes.

v0.2.3 is also a pre-alpha build, but, um, the short answer is "yes".

You can update from v0.2.2 to v0.2.3/v0.2.3b as long as you have bought the pre-order. If you are using the version that was temporarily distributed for free, then you're out of luck and need to purchase the game in order to continue to get updates.
