Ancient ruins too empty?

It took me about two days to go from opening the ruins to heading in to the glass desert and I have no reason to do anything now but pass through the ruins on the way to the desert. It's a big area but the only thing there is quantum slimes and phase lemons. More puzzles to give it a dungeon feel could be nice but it might need more new slimes and resources to give it purpose.

The purpose of the Ancient Ruins is a bridge between the Moss Blanket, Indigo Quarry and the Glass Desert. There is no other purpose of it. The Quantum Slime is just "an add-on" into the area that's all.
I want more Slime Rancher tings fam.

there's also loads of treasure pods and the echos that people like to decorate with or use as breadcrumbs to find their way.
If you want a Gordo as big as possible before starting to tremble, feed it 21 of any food that isn't its favorite!

Well, that just seems rather Boring, and a waist of potential. this is why we NEED Mods!. so we can create new areas of our own, or add to existing areas.
Boom slimes, Rocks Slimes, No Pain No gain.

And you forgot to mention the mod's creator is making money off of the devs' work. I don't care that it's just $1, it's still a bad thing to do.
