Malicious File?

Something odd just occurred when i tried to download the most recent update for slime rancher, when it looked like it had completed on my download bar (im using google chrome) it said that chrome found that it was malicious and deleted it for me... anyone know what's going on?

Where did you download it from? Was it a secure page (https:)?

It was from the humble bundle page that was sent to my email that i downloaded the original files for when i purchased the game a couple days ago

Then it must just be a problem with Chrome. Try downloading again and see if it still won't let you, if not then Internet Explorer should work. I have had several problems before with Chrome saying there is security problems when there were not.

I decided to recover the malicious file and scanned it a couple times with my antivirus ... not sure what chrome is thinking lol

Chrome is oversensitive in a lot of cases, the game files are totally clean. :)

I had the same issue with chrome, edge worked fine. Sometimes chrome is funky with exes in a zip file
