I..................... HATE.............. SLIME............... RANCHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ---- THE GLASS DESERT SUCKS! I am SO close to ripping my own hair out! I am utterly and completely lost, the only thing left is making my char commit you know what just to go home and if I have to do that, I will never touch this game AGAIN!

I finally made it out with some Dervish and Fire Slimes, all that hard work! and guess what! I didn't know you had to have an incinerator... so my Fire Slimes died!!!! I am SO absolutely D. O. N. E.! This game is too hard for people like me that really physically get sick with all of the blur, the motion, the flashing fire raining down and the mazes!

if you hate it then don't play it??
or just don't go in the glass desert???

You didn't know you had to put them in an incinerator? That's why you should always check the Slimepedia when you get something new.

Also just turn off motion blur or whatever if that hurts your eyes. Maybe set up a teleporter right outside the desert.

A few things that might help with motion sickness could be disabling the camera bob and adjusting the field of view. Both can be done under options. The Field of View settings can be found under "Video" and the camera bob is under "Other".

I play it because I liked it, that was until they added the Glass Desert which highly frustrates me.

Thanks, I'll probably have to do that, but even then I can't help but to get lost in the Glass Desert. :(

That's the whole point of the Glass Dessert...

Also. this isn't all yet. If you have been to the very end of the Glass Dessert, you must have seen the under construction sign which means that the Glass Dessert will expand even more. Which i can't wait to see.

Yea I did see that. I hope it gets expanded sure but there has to be a way not to get lost. :( Maybe I'll have to try and use a user made map after all even though I'm not so good at those.

the radar on R is often overlooked by players. it's actually really useful for getting out of the desert. also be sure to unlock all the slime gates to help you get around. when i was in the deepest parts, i kept going in circles forever. but i could always easily get to the area with a slime gate that leads back to the rock slime statues, and from there the mini-temple with the tangle gordo. though i had to go get another key before i could get through there and only knew where it lead cuz i managed to climb up and over the wall. i still have trouble getting back to the first area from the tangle gordo temple, but if you pop that gordo, it actually has a one-way home warp underneath it. i can hardly say that i know my way around at this point, but at the very least i know how to get myself home easily after ending up at one of the places i often wander to when lost.

You need a special level of common sense and knowledge to know your way around the desert. Git Gud

I am good, but I have tics and I get video game sickness / pnes seizures... I hate feeling trapped and lost it makes my tics worse and sometimes I can throw myself into a pnes seizure.

if you really need to, you can also do the much more annoying method of leaving a trail of echoes.

I actually thought about the echo thing

If you need a couple fire slimes you can go into the desert then save and quit, Open the game again
and about 6 fire slimes will fall out of the sky(if you are still anywhere in the glass dessert)

Just note this is a bug and fire slimes will rarely spawn in a fire storm as well.

Thank you!!! It made me like almost cry when my Fire Slimes died... I wish I knew I had to put them in the fire incinerator thingy.

i know people are just excited to play the game, but i still feel like it's really stupid when people don't read the thing in-game that's literally meant to tell them how to raise slimes and instead go online and ask someone about it. like i know i shouldn't be mad about how people play their own saves, but i can't help but get bugged about it.

I know I'm not too bright... I should have read up about the new Slimes but instead I just assumed things. Sorry.
