Where to find Hunter Slimes?

So I was recently playing and trying to get up a good number of Hunter slimes for my ranch, I went to the original spawn location (see attached picture) where i got my Hunters from a while back upon their release but after spending all night (slimepedia says they are rare, but more commonly found at night) I had 1, and this is after re setting the spawners in that location several times by throwing the slimes that spawned out into the slime sea... (which seemed to be an act of mercy considering the ridiculous number of different slime types that spawn in this area)

Is this location still where the Hunters primarily spawn? If so they seriously need to remove at the very least the Pink Slime spawners in this location as its damn near IMPOSSIBLE to get Hunter Slimes to spawn at night when they have to compete with far more common Pink, Boom, Tabby, and Phosphor slimes, not to mention when 1 does randomly decide to spawn it usually immediately turns into a largo because of all the different plorts scattered everywhere...

If you are where I think you are, at the section just beyond the broken bridge, then that's been the only place I've had luck finding them. I found one randomly in the beginning of the Moss Blanket, but I think that was an error.

Sometimes I will find them there, and sometimes there's none, not even largos. But when I find one, there's usually another around, sometimes 3 in total. You should look in the day as well, as they do sometimes spawn in the day, but most often I find them at around dusk.

I can get 5 of them on a good run through the moss blanket. If your lucky one will spawn directly in your path in the area immediately after the entrance room, one in the area right before their "main spawn point" before you cross the downed bridge, two in the area you show if you stick around long enough, and then one almost always spawns for me in the flowery area right before the log leading to the water area. And of course go at night to increase your chances.
