oh sorry i was confusing that with another overhang lol. if you loop around, you should be able to get to the pillar out in the sand sea. get up on the trees there and you should be able to get to the stone brick that's out a bit on the main area.

well there's that too. i've found all the treasure pods i could. skimmed the guide a bit for them, but i found about half on my own i think? but the guide doesn't say anything about the butterscotch lamp and i assume there's warp tech to go with it.

umm... if you mean finding the butterscotch lamp it is right behind the left statue at the glass desert entrance(go through the teleporter first) and tier 2. But yes there is warp tech to go with it from all i know but have not unlocked/found/bought it yet.

i'm still not entirely sure what i wanna use those new warp techs for once i find them. i may just swap out my current ones that lead to the other areas for their extractor locations for good spots in the glass desert for the same thing once i get all the exclusive resources i need from those areas, but that'd still leave me with 4 unused.

I should probably make a warp and put it deep within the Glass Desert so it's easier for me to ESCAPE :P

i was thinking of that too, but idk where i'd put the return portal. frankly, i wouldn't mind having some place-able home warps. they'd have to be really expensive and not able to be picked up for balancing reasons.

all of the new 7Z rewards were added to previously existing ranks. so if you're already maxed out, you get the new stuff from them straight away. incidentally, if you have the golden sureshot, golden slimes will still drop 3 plorts when making contact with a food item, even if you're not the one to have shot it, or even been there for it to happen. and i also noticed that tarr take damage in the oases which is cool.it means i don't have to waste time tarr-proofing the desert since most slimes only spawn within those oases.

There is still the bug where slime stacks break up, and slimes that do stack almost never stack more than 2 slimes each.

Anyone having their auto feeders shoot out all the food at one time when they enter an area? I noticed it in my Tabby/Phosphor Largo corral, but wasn't too upset as the timing for that (I have it on the lowest setting and it stills shoots too much food out) has been wonky all along. Can a Admin look at it? Please? I would upload video/gif but my laptop is barely handling the game at this point. :|

loving the the glass desert so far just getting turned around and lost alot like in the ancient ruins. was thinking could we get some kinda mini map for the areas or some kinda blueprint that would help keep us from lost and turned around pretty plz :)

as helpful as a minimap would be, i personally love learning the layout on my own. i already feel like i know my way around pretty well.

I been spending most of my time playing Stardew Valley and Yokai Watch, I am weird like that... perhaps it's the adhd? or the fact that ever since the last update "cough" Glass Desert add on, I just fell out... :/ I couldn't do it, maybe I will start it up again in a few days... when I get frustrated I have to take a breather ya know.

I would love a map if it would show where my ectractos are. I can usually find my way around after a couple of hours in the new area, but my extractors are a bit spread out so sometimes I miss one of them. Not that big of a. Deal, but it would still be a big help if I could find it on a map

i mean if we got a map it would be kinda like the map it would be blank and we would need explore to fill it in and find markers or something to add a small portions to the map. and maybe have us be able to add little pins so we can mark spots important to us for like extractors, portable resource depositers and such. i like exploring as much as the next person but i'm getting lost and turned around in glass desert super easy. so i'm having to set teleport pads down at the start of glass desert and when i get super lost i find a spot to put the other pad so i can warp back to the start i know it seems like a waste but it's better then using emergency return lol

if there was a mnimap, i'd certainly love a layout of all the gadget spots. though not particularly useful for decorating since i need to be there to see what looks good, it would certainly help planning where to put my extractors in the desert.
