All good things and all journeys come to an end, and we’re afraid it is time for us to say goodbye to the Monomi Park Forums. Much like Bea had to leave Earth for the Far, Far Range so she could grow, our community has found homes on new platforms and these forums are no longer the right fit for us. We’ve got so many fond memories of our time together here and we’re sure you do too, so we will be archiving the site and making it viewable for everyone for a time.

It looks slimy but also has some correlation to heat.

My guess is it is going to look like a puddle slime and we are going to get a new plot type we can build thats like a mini volcano or lava pit (similar to a pond)

the fire slime was probably a replacement for the meteor slime, which was cancelled mid dev so all the other slimes got a head start,
or in other words, the fire slime isn't done being made yet.
also, it IS going to look like the puddle slime,
think about
tabby-hunter
crystal-rock
radiation-quantum
the new slimes will probably be cousins too,
so fire slime is the cousin of puddle slime, and will probably look like the slime science resource fire dust.

I personally think it'll be black with orange little flames that can harm you. Read its description. 'A little burning oil slick that dines on ash.'

Oh I would be so happy if it looked like the puddle slime. Puddle slimes are so cute.
